Coming June 2026: Lo-Fi Woodworking at Genlore Workshop
Since 2017, I’ve been woodworking on my own – making benches, tables chairs, stools… you name it. But everyone knows that crafting beautiful modern wooden furniture by yourself can get quiet… so I’m excited to announce that, starting this summer, I’m finally opening my doors to teach a series of classes: “Lo-Fi Woodworking at Genlore Workshop.”
So far I’ve scheduled four different classes; each with its own focus: Milking Stool, Tall Stool, Chair, and Bench. Class sizes of four or less ensures plenty of time one-on-one instruction. I’ll teach you basic shop safety, design, hand tool skills and woodworking. Over our time together, you will craft your own beautiful piece of furniture to take home (or to give away, if you’re a saint).
Course lengths range in duration from 1-3 days. Genlore Workshop is located at 301 S. Few Street, Madison WI. Prices include materials and a charcuterie lunch – visit genlorewoodcraft.com/class for more information.
I’m looking forward to seeing you in the workshop!
